Description
http://videos.addicted2salsa.com/podc...That is incorrect. The lady is the pivot axis (center of the circle) and the guy only moves 180 degrees on that axis. Therefore 360 is the incorrect terminology. Note that some people consider the cross-body lead at the end, part of the move, but it is not, because the cross-body lead is LINEAR movement, not a ROTATIONAL one. There are 360 degrees in a circle. For a real 360 degrees cross-body lead, see videos with Milton Cobo. There are more explanations on our website. In this episode of Addicted2Salsa, we go back to the basics to help you learn how to do a 180° Cross-Body Lead with a Turn (*a few others call this the Coca-Cola move). We first start off refreshing you what a Cross-Body Lead with a Turn looks like and from there add-on the extra dance steps required to do a half-revolution. Getting the 180 degree cross body lead will help build the salsa framework for you to execute the 360 cross body lead - which will show you in a future episode.
